Industrial Heated Platen Capabilities:
- All standard Platens are capable of heating ambient to 200°C in 45 minutes.
- Standard temperature platens will operate continuously at 200°C.
- Custom manufacturing to meet your requirements.
- Water and/or air-cooled platens available.
- All platens come with integrated thermocouples.
- Platen to press fixing holes to specification.
- Centre Transfer Hole can be provided.

Heated Platen Heating Methods
Electric & Induction Heated Platens (up to 430°C)
BIPEL supplies electric and Induction Heated Platens for applications requiring precise temperature control, rapid heat-up, and excellent repeatability.
Heating methods include:
Induction Heated Platens (up to 250 °C)
Cartridge Heated Platens (up to 430 °C)
Strip Heater Platens (up to 250 °C)
Induction-heated Platens offer fast thermal response, high efficiency, and excellent temperature uniformity, making them ideal for modern press applications.
Oil Heated Platens (Up to 300 °C)
Oil Heated Platens are designed for heavy-duty and high-capacity industrial presses where stable, long-duration heating is required. Thermal oil systems provide consistent surface temperatures and are commonly used in traditional industrial press installations.
BIPEL Oil Heated Platens are suitable for:
