This custom-engineered 150-tonne composite press is designed for injecting resin into a mould cavity. The table then closes under the specified pressure to complete the process. A key feature is its large daylight opening, which allows a robot to interact with the mould as it cures and remove it once the curing cycle is complete. The press’s operation and control are centrally managed using Omron control systems and a hydraulic power pack.

The following specifications detail the configuration of this powerful press platform. They demonstrate the robust capabilities of our design. Every parameter below can be reviewed and custom-engineered to match your precise production goals.

150 Tonne Press (Standard Configuration & Flexibility)

  • Mode of Operation: Manual and Semi-Auto: This will grant you the flexibility to run prototype batches or high-volume production.
  • Stroke: 800mm: Thereby giving you versatility for deep-draw components and complex mould geometry.
  • Daylight between tables: 1200mm: As a result, allowing for  maximum access for robotic automation and tooling changes.
  • Guards (front) : Hinged Double door
  • Cylinder type: Double acting: There by letting your machine act fast, controlled during closing and opening speeds.
  • Number of Cylinders : 2
  • Pressing force: 1500kN: Consequently, giving you the power to handle large-area moulds and high-viscosity resins.
  • Pull back force at circuit pressure: 500kN: There in allowing for rapid and reliable mould opening after curing.
  • Table size: 1800mm x 1500mm: With this the machine has the capacity for large-format parts or multi-cavity tooling.

While this specific setup proved to be an excellent, high-specification solution, it serves as a baseline for what we can achieve. Whether your process demands different requirements, such as different tonnage, stroke, platen size, or automation features, we will work closely to meet them.
