This custom-engineered 2-tonne metal powder blender demonstrates our expertise in critical process mixing. The ingredients are contained within a ‘bin’ that is placed in the cage. The blending action is achieved by rotating the cage with the bin installed. As a result, the rotation axis is arranged to give the best blending action. This version is designed for blending metal powders for subsequent processing.

This Bin Features:
- Inlet: Quick connect JACOB ducting style.
- Outlet; PN16 – DN300 flange with manual butterfly valve.
- 1” BSPP Inert Gas port Nitrogen gas port. Not used while blending.
- 1” BSPP Air out gas port. Not used while blending.
- 1” BSPP Atmospheric balance port.
- 1” BSPP for Pressure relief valve
- 1” BSPP additional connections for future additions / sampling.
Secondly, the Blender Features:
- Inverter driven motor for rotation.
- Rotation proxy slow and stop.
- Slip ring to accommodate wiring to cage.
- Cage lock cylinder with lock unlock limit switches.
Finally, the Cage Features:
- Cage clamp via linear actuator (screw jack, motor gearbox).
- Linear actuator complete with limit switches for open and closed stroke.
- Linear actuator has brake motor so will not loosen turn under load
- Cage clamp limit switches left and right.
