Two new bespoke composite material presses. These hydraulic presses were specifically designed by JRD BIPEL to meet individual customer requirements. Each composite press utilizes a dual-cylinder system and features a table size of 1800mm x 1500mm, a main ram stroke of 800mm, and a daylight opening of 1200mm. The operation of each hydraulic press is managed by both an Omron control system and a dedicated hydraulic power pack. These two composite presses are key components within a fully automated production cell that also incorporates robotic automation.
The design of our composite material presses includes integrated space on the bottom table to accommodate resin injection pumps. This enables efficient resin injection into the mold cavity while the hydraulic press tables are fully closed and under pressure, ensuring optimal composite material processing. The significant daylight opening of these presses allows for the use of a robot to precisely place carbon fiber woven tubes into the mold and to remove the cured components after the hydraulic press cycle is complete and the press opens
